It doesn’t have to be her birthday or Mother’s Day for Jacqueline MacInnes Wood to be treated like the queen she is. The Emmy-winning actress recently revealed something special her husband did for her to make her life a little easier.
A Gift For Jacqueline MacInnes Wood
“The sexiest thing your man can tell you is.. ‘baby…why don’t you sleep in and I’ll take care of our child this morning,'” Wood (Steffy) wrote. “… dayummm Daddddyy..what you tryin to do? get me all hot bothered?! Shooooot #parentlife #musictomyears”
Wood posted a photo of herself, husband Elan Ruspoli, and their son, Rise Harlem, taken at the beach. Actor pals from The Young and the Restless Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) and Sofia Pernas (ex-Marisa) chimed in with responses on Wood’s post, in full agreement of her words. Stafford wrote: “1000%” while Pernas posted: “Beautiful ❤️.”
Wood and Ruspoli had dated for some time before getting engaged in November 2017 and eloping the following July. The couple welcomed their son, Rise, in March 2019.
Wood joined The Bold and the Beautiful in 2008 and was nominated for her first Daytime Emmy (in the category of Outstanding Younger Leading Actress) in 2012. The actress took a brief break from the show during which time she filmed the fifth installment of the Final Destination horror film franchise.
Last year, Wood won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Traditionally, the previous year’s winner hosts a luncheon for the current nominees. (The lunch for nominated actresses began years ago, ironically, by Wood’s former co-star — and Steffy’s grandmother — Susan Flannery, who played Stephanie.) The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
