Like her on-screen alter ego on The Bold and the Beautiful, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is a devoted mother. And, now, the woman who plays Steffy Forrester is celebrating something that every mother can relate to!
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood: A Mommy Milestone
Wood’s son, Rise, is having his first birthday! Rise Harlen was born a year ago on March 4, 2019. Now, he’s officially one-year-old! “Birthday Boy!!!!” Wood captioned her post.
Babies have been a part of both Wood’s on and off-screen life in the last few years. Along with having her son, Rise, Wood has played out some heavy baby drama on BB, including pregnancy and new motherhood with Baby Kelly.
Steffy’s breakup scenes with Liam (Scott Clifton) over the possibility that Bill (Don Diamont) was her unborn baby’s dad were on Wood’s reel that won her last year’s Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series.
Steffy was the unwitting pawn who adopted Hope’s (Annika Noelle) baby after she had been kidnapped by Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady). He stole the infant to sell to Taylor (Hunter Tylo) so he could pay off some gambling debts.
The drama played out for several months and the reveal pushed BB to the top of the ratings in the key demographic of women viewers aged 18-49. When Steffy had to give Beth back to Liam and Hope, it was heartbreaking as she lost her “Phoebe.”
Soap Hub joins Wood’s pals from daytime in wishing her son a very happy birthday! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
