The Bold and the Beautiful Jacob Young
Rick Forrester’s life with Maya hit the skids on The Bold and the Beautiful, and now, Rick’s portrayer, Jacob Young, has some big news to share about his real-life love life!
Young posted a heartfelt love letter to his wife, Christen, on their 12th anniversary, proving that while love comes and goes on-screen, it can last quite a long time off-screen!
“Christen, 12 years ago today, May 13th, I became the luckiest man alive,” Young wrote. “On that day a feeling came over me. That feeling was that everything from here on out was going to be ok, that I would always be forever safe in your loving arms. We have grown together and have become even closer.
“One thing is for sure, you are that person, the love of my life and that love for me will only happen once. You are an amazing force, intelligent and strong. Gorgeous yet kind. An amazing companion and an incredible mother. I love you! Happy Anniversary my love.”
Young and his wife have three children: Luke, Molly, and Grace.
In addition to playing Rick on B&B, Young won a Daytime for Outstanding Younger Leading Actor In A Drama Series for his turn as Lucky on General Hospital. He’s also known for playing JR Chandler on All My Children.
