Jacob Young may be on a break from The Bold and the Beautiful, but that doesn’t mean his fans can’t still see him!
The actor has launched a new web venture that is going to keep him connected with his followers!
Young, who debuted on B&B in late 1997 as Rick Forrester, is going to be hosting his own talk show, Daytime After Dark, set to debut on YouTube this October.
The actor, who won a Daytime Emmy for playing Lucky Spencer on General Hospital, says he’s getting lots of inquiries about what the content of his show will be.
He’s responded by saying he’ll be talking about the entertainment world including music, film, and television, adding he’ll be interviewing his pals from the world of showbiz.
Young confirms to Soap Hub that soaps will be a part of it.
“I will definitely have soap content on my channel,” the actor says. He’ll also address what it takes for aspiring talent to make it in Hollywood.
In addition to his on-again/off-again run on B&B and his turn as Lucky on GH, Young played JR Chandler on All My Children. He also briefly brought B&B’s Rick over to The Young and the Restless.
Away from soaps, he’s appeared on the sitcom Hope & Faith, and the TV movie, The Beach Boys: An American Family. Young’s also a recording artist. Earlier this year, he released a single titled Better Than A Love Song.
He’s currently filming the movie Faithfully, which stars Christa B. Allen, who’s best known as Charlotte from the primetime soap Revenge.
The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.
