Before Jacob Young returned to his role as Rick Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful, he played JR Chandler on All My Children. Now, the actor is starring in a Hallmark movie that features another actor who brought JR to life – Jonathan Bennett.
Young appears in the Hallmark movie Christmas Made To Order, set to air on December 23 at 8 p.m. on Hallmark.
The film stars Bennett and Alexa PenaVega (Nashville). In it, Bennett plays an architect named Steven who needs help bringing Christmas to his home after he offers to host the holidays for his family.
He hires a woman named Gretchen (PenaVega) to decorate his dwelling. She succeeds in bringing Steven’s family together, but after another opportunity comes Gretchen’s way, she and Steven will have to decide what’s really important in life.
Young plays the character of Jeff. The actor shot some behind the scenes footage from a holding area for cast members, which happens to be in a real-life restaurant that specializes in waffles!
“It’s great to be part of the Hallmark family,” says Young, who also shared in his video that Christmas Made to Order was filmed in Utah, not far from where he and his family live.
This film features not only stars from B&B and AMC, but also As the World Turns! Anne Sward, who played Lyla Montgomery Peretti, on the long-running CBS sudser, plays Ellen in the movie.
