Jacob Young
As Rick Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful, Jacob Young had a lot of closeups! Now, he’s getting some in the film Prepare for Launch, in which he plays astronaut Lt. John S Bull. The movie is currently in production and as you see, Young looks every bit the part!

The movie-like quality lighting hasn’t gone unnoticed by Young’s pals. “God I love terrific lights🥃,” posted Eric Martsolf (Brady, Days of our Lives).
“God’s favor upon you brother AmenAmenAmen♥️,” wrote Terri Ivens (ex-Simone, All My Children), Young’s former castmate from when he played JR Chandler on the gone-but-never-forgotten ABC serial. Adds Daniel Goddard (ex-Cane, The Young and the Restless): “👏.”
“Pleasure working with you – until we meet again!” posted James Michael Douglas, the film’s writer and cinematographer. Young replied: “absolutely! 🙏🏻.”
“Such a space cadet,” quipped Aiden Turner (ex-Aidan, AMC), “for fresh breath while wearing your helmet try ORBIT spearmint gum.” Young chuckled in return: “@aidenturner ”
“Who took that picture of you while you’re in space by yourself? I smell a conspiracy…..🤔” quipped Dax Griffin (ex-Shane, BB), poking fun at moon-landing conspiracies. Young replied: “…the computer Hal, from 2001 Space Odyssey! Duh!”
Prepare for Launch will dramatize Bull’s life, which includes him being chosen as support crew for the second Apollo manned flight of the Saturn V, Apollo 8.
