The Bold and the Beautiful
He’s no longer making beautiful music with his former leading ladies on The Bold and the Beautiful, but actor/singer Jacob Young has some exciting news to share about a new venture!
The actor shared on social media that in a few days, on Friday, January 3, a new song he’s recorded, titled Lovin’ It, will be available to purchase on various platforms.
“So proud of this tune, that myself my friend @thesevenfreeman and #Bradyseals from @littletexasband wrote,” Young tweeted. “Available anywhere and everywhere you can buy or stream music…#Spotify #googleplay #applemusic #itunes #youtube.”
Young released his first self-titled, country music CD back in 2001. His other music includes The Question of You (2008), Better Than a Love Song (2018), Fool for You (2018), Whiskey Kiss (2018), and American Way (2018).
While he’s best known to CBS Daytime fans for his run as Rick on BB, which began in 1997, Young’s other soap credits include General Hospital’s Lucky and All My Children’s JR Chandler. The actor exited the half-hour soap in 2018. It was later explained that Rick and Maya (Karla Mosley) split up off-camera. She continues to recur on BB.
Since exiting BB, Young has joined the cast of web series Beacon Hill and appeared in the TV movies When Vows Break, Christmas Made to Honor, and The Road To Christmas.
In February 2019, he took part in an AMC reunion on Strahan and Sara, the ABC talk show, along with former colleagues Susan Lucci (ex-Erica), Walt Willey (ex-Jack), and many others.
