Douglas Forrester hasn’t earned any degrees yet on The Bold and the Beautiful, however, his portrayer, Henry Joseph Samiri, recently showed off a real-life certificate that represents a rite of passage.
“My newest milestone!! So happy to have lost my FIRST tooth,” Samiri posted on his Instagram account. “#firsttooth #toothfairy #milestones #smile #toothless #gettingolder.”
Samiri received some comments on this milestone from some BB pals. “Congratulations Henry!!!” responded Annika Noelle (Hope). Added Casey Kasprzyk, BB’s Supervising Producer: “Hope the tooth fairy took care of you!”
While it’s tradition to receive some money underneath your pill from the “Tooth Fairy” after losing a tooth, these days, some youngsters are also getting certificates to commemorate the loss of the baby tooth.
“This is to Certify,” read Samiri’s document, which he proudly displays in the post below, “The Recipient of 1 Tooth/Teeth from the Mouth of Henry Samiri, Who is 7 Years Old, and Lost His…Tooth/Teeth on January 13, 2021.”
On the upper-left portion of the certificate reads “Paid in Full,” but, for now, that appears to be blank! So, perhaps Samiri is smiling because he knows the Tooth Fairy is coming!
Samiri made his BB debut in March 2019. He and his father Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) returned to Los Angeles following the untimely passing of Douglas’ mother Caroline (Linsey Godfrey, now, Sarah, Days of Our Lives).
Douglas played a key role in BB’s biggest storyline in 2019. He learned not only that Hope and Liam’s (Scott Clifton) daughter, Beth, was not only alive, but he knew that she’d been adopted by Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and was going by the name Phoebe.
At first, Liam didn’t believe Douglas, but the youngster was adamant in his belief that baby Beth was alive. Thomas was furious with his son for telling the truth because that meant he couldn’t hang onto Hope. In fact, once Liam told Hope the truth the two shared a joyful and romantic reunion on the rooftop of Forrester Creations!
Currently, Thomas and Hope are co-parenting Douglas. No word yet on if the tooth loss will be written into the show. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.
