The Bold and the Beautiful Star Don Diamont Cheers on Star Athlete Son

As followers of Don Diamont know, the actor’s son Zander was a star football player at Indiana University. Now, The Bold and the Beautiful star and his wife Cindy Ambuehl have another son, Davis Ambuehl, who’s showing his athletic prowess.

“CONGRATULATIONS to the Palisades Charter High Basketball Team and @davis_ambuehl on winning the CIF Los Angeles City Section D1 Championship!!!” Diamont posted on Instagram. “First time they’ve been back to the finals in 50 years, and they CLOSED THE DEAL!!! Icing on the cake for @cindyambuehl …., Davis running out to the parking lot to give mommy a hug before getting on the victory bus.”

If you scroll through the post below, you can see Diamont and Ambuehl (who played Kim on B&B in 1996) with Davis and then Davis with his teammates, as well as Davis giving his mom an emotional embrace.

Fellow soap pals (who are also parents) chimed in with support on Diamont’s post. “Amazing!!!!” wrote Michelle Stafford. Added Daniel Goddard (ex-Cane): “Congrats!!!”

Diamont first came to the soap scene as Days of our Lives’ Carlos Forenza in 1984, who met an untimely end. He then was cast in his landmark role of Brad Carlton on The Young and the Restless, which he played for decades. After Brad met an icy end saving Noah (then Kevin Schmidt) from drowning, Diamont was quickly scooped up by BB to play Bill ‘Dollar Bill’ Spencer.

The actor brought a much-needed antagonist to the canvas as Bill used his wealth to manipulate those around him. He’s been romantically linked to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), and Katie (Heather Tom).

Bill’s family has expanded on the soap, too. He discovered he was the long-lost dad to two grown sons — Liam (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt (Darin Brooks). He’s also dad to Will (Finnegan George). The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
