There was nothing “accidental” about Ridge and Shauna getting married in Las Vegas on The Bold and the Beautiful. Quinn’s ill-fated scheme had pre-meditation written all over it! Now, Shauna’s portrayer, Denise Richards, is starring in an independent film that, based on its title and plot, indicates that there are genuine mistakes that can be made on the road to true love.
New Project For Denise Richards
Richards, Aaron O’Connell (The Haves and Have Nots), and Brenda Song (Secret Obsession) star in the film Love Accidentally, which tells the story of two arch-rivals Alexa (played Song) and Jason (portrayed by O’Connell), who are both up for the job of top sales director at an advertising company owned by Richards’ character Debra.
Alex and Jason end up texting each other after one of them sends the other an emoji that conveys a broken heart. They continue to text each other but neither is aware that they are co-workers competing for the same position. Will love prevail when the truth comes out?
Love Accidentally is written by Robert Dean Klein (Little Fish, Strange Pond) and directed by Peter Sullivan (Secret Obsession). The film also stars Pedro Correa (Middle), Brooke Newton (Ray Donovan), Marc Samuel (Felix, General Hospital), Gib Gerard (Discarded), and Maxwell Caulfield (ex-Miles, The Colbys).
In addition to her role in Love Accidentally and playing Shauna on BB, Richards’ recent and upcoming projects are Timecrafters: The Treasure of Pirate’s Cove, Among the Ashes, Saturday Night at the Starlight, and Glow & Darkness.
Love Accidentally is set for a release later this year. Past projects by the film’s production company have appeared on Lifetime, Netflix, Hallmark, OWN, Ion, and Syfy.
Shauna made the BB scene in 2019 as Quinn’s (Rena Sofer) pal and Flo’s (Katrina Bowden) mom. She supported her daughter after she was exposed for remaining silent in the baby Beth kidnapping story, which at first put her at odds with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye).
Over time, they became friends who confided in one another. Ridge followed Shauna to Las Vegas where he was later led to mistakenly believe that he and Shauna had had a quickie marriage following a quickie divorce from Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Ultimately, the legality of the union was moot — and Ridge remains in love with Brooke. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.
