The Bold and the Beautiful’s Denise Richards may be relatively new to soaps, but she understands the close dynamic daytime fans have with their favorite stars. The actress who brings Shauna to life on the half-hour drama recently took the time to answer questions from tweeters.
She asked BB devotees to send her their inquiries. One fan asked the actress if she feels that Shauna could help make Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) forget about Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang)? “I think Ridge will always love Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang),” Richards replied, “but I think we have more than one love in our life.”
Asked how she’s like Shauna in real-life, Richards replied, “Shauna raised a daughter as a single mom I can relate to that. Shauna has made some choices that I may not have but I know it comes from a good place nothing malicious.”
At the conclusion of the social media Q&A, Richards kindly expressed both her gratitude to and concern for the show’s fans. “Thank you to our loyal fans,” the actress said, “I know it’s a very surreal and scary time. Many have said u feel we’re part of your family. Please take comfort knowing we think of you & want u healthy and safe and thank you for having us in your home every day.”
Over on Instagram, Richards joined numerous others in wishing BB a happy anniversary. The show turned 33 on March 23. “Thank you @boldandbeautifulcbs,” the actress posted. “I know I recently joined the journey. Thank you to the fans and the cast and crew for the humbling welcome. I love being part of this amazing show #shaunafulton.”
