The Bold and the Beautiful Star Denise Richards Lands on Jeopardy

Denise Richards can lay claim to being a part of pop culture in many fashions. As Shauna Fulton, she’s a cast member of The Bold and the Beautiful, one of TV’s most widely watched shows worldwide.

Denise Richards: An Answer

She has also been a Dancing With the Stars competitor, one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and a “Bond Girl” on the big screen. Now, she’s racked up another accomplishment!

Recently, Richards was part of a question (or rather the answer to a question) on an episode of Jeopardy!, the syndicated game show hosted by Alex Trebek. The category was Lifetime Movie Titles and the value was $400. Richards’ name popped up on the screen when Trebek read the answer: “SHAKE YOUR POM-POM’S FOR 2019’S ‘THE SECRET LIVES OF,’ THESE, STARRING DENISE RICHARDS, MOM TO AVA WHO MAKES THE TEAM.”

“Our lovely prop girl Linda on @boldandbeautifulcbs took this😂,” Richards posted on her Instagram account. “Thank you Linda & @jeopardy now I know I’ve made it ❤️so excited I was a clue. Thank you🙏🏻”

The answer — or rather the question — was “What is Cheerleaders?” as Richards appeared in the Lifetime movie The Secret Lives of Cheerleaders. The movie told the story of Ava, a naturally-gifted cheerleader, who has a quick rise in popularity but is threatened when a cheer captain and Homecoming queen, Katrina, puts Ava and other potential cheerleaders through a horrific initiation process.

This isn’t the first time Jeopardy! has had a soap connection. Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki, The Young and the Restless) was a contestant on a celebrity-themed episode of Jeopardy in 1995. She also appeared on the show with other YR stars in 2016. In December 2017, “What is General Hospital?” was the question to the answer “August 2017 marked 40 years for Leslie Charleson playing a doctor on this TV show.”
