Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful are thankful for many things this year. Among them is the character of Shauna Fulton, played by former (James) Bond girl Denise Richards! Now, the actress is sharing what she’s thankful for.

Richards posted on Instagram a photo of herself and her adorable clan. “Family vacay for Thanksgiving…So happy to be with my beautiful family much to be grateful for.”

Indeed. Professionally, Richards turned what could have been a short-term guest-star gig on BB into some steady screen-time as the latest foil in the show’s top romantic couple — Ridge and Brooke (Thorsten Kaye and Katherine Kelly Lang). The show also tied her to Quinn (Rena Sofer) by revealing the two were besties before Quinn came to Los Angeles.

Additionally, Richards continues on the hit Bravo reality series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And she landed a plum role in the all-star cast of the upcoming series Paper Empire, which went into production this year but has yet to announce a broadcast partner.

The actress is a native of Downers Grove, Illinois. She made a name for herself throughout the 1990s appearing on such series as Beverly Hills, 90210, Seinfeld, and Melrose Place. She popped up in last summer’s 90210 series reboot, BH 90210, as a nod to one of her first TV roles.

One of Richards’ most memorable films was the 1997 hit Starship Troopers, which earned the actress a nomination for Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Favorite Female Newcomer.

The performer remains one of Hollywood’s busiest actresses. Her upcoming projects include Amazon Lost, Saturday at the Starlight, Switched, Timecrafters: The Treasure of Pirate’s Cove, Alpha Code, and FraXtur. She also is in the recently released My Adventures with Santa.

Off-screen, the actress is wed to actor Aaron Phypers (Air Emergency). She has three daughters: Sam, Lola Rose, and Eloise. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
