Wyatt and Flo aren’t near the “let’s have kids” stage just yet on The Bold and the Beautiful, but in real-life, Wyatt’s portrayer, Darin Brooks, is enjoying watching daughter Everleigh, 1, experience some “firsts.” Recently, Brooks’ daughter took a little step that was actually a big step.
Darin Brooks And Kelly Kruger: Parenting Milestone
It was actually the actor’s real-life wife, Kelly Kruger (ex-Mac, The Young and the Restless) who shared the news on her Instagram page that Everleigh has taken her first steps. “Everleigh took her first step yesterday,” Kruger posted. “If u need me I’ll be in the closet crying over the fact that she’s almost in college 😭 #mybaby #babymilestones #momlife.”
“Yay yay yay! Go Everleigh!” posted Brooks’ co-star Karla Mosley (Maya).
Fortunately, children in real life don’t age nearly as quickly as they do on soaps! On BB, Rick and Bridget were SORAS’d when Jacob Young and Agnes Bruckner assumed the respective roles of Rick and Bridget from Steven Hartman and Landry Albright. Rick was first played as a toddler by Jeremy Snider, the real-life son of Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke).
Shortly thereafter, Mick Cain became the new C.J. Garrison, replacing Kyle Sabihy, in the part of Rick’s best “frenemy.” In 2002, actor Patrick Dorn took on the role of Thomas Forrester. Two years later, he was aged and Drew Tyler Bell was cast in the part.
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor’s (Hunter Tylo) son was aged up a bit more when he was recast again with Adam Gregory. While Thomas’s age has more or less remained the same, Pierson Fodé succeeded Gregory in the part. Now, Matthew Atkinson plays the role.
Zane Achor, the real-life son of Heather Tom (Katie), once played the part of her TV son, Will. The Spencer heir was aged just a little bit as Will was going to be taking on some heavier material, so Finnegan George took on the role.
Sometimes soaps will make a switch with only a few episodes separating a younger player from their aged counterpart. However, it’s often a safe bet when viewers hear that a character is going off to boarding school that SORAS is going to occur! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS.
