She’s one of The Bold and the Beautiful’s most-missed and most-memorable characters. We’re talking about Adrienne Frantz’s Amber Moore. Now, fans are reaching out to the Daytime Emmy-winner in light of her recent family loss.
Condolences To Adrienne Frantz
“I lost my beautiful Aunt Jane a few days ago!” Frantz posted on Instagram, along with a beautiful photo of her and her beloved aunt. “I loved her so much! She lived to be 94 and had such an amazing life! I know you are dancing with the Angels now! I will love and miss you forever!!! #angel #heaven”
Frantz first made the daytime scene in 1997 as an original cast member of the short-lived soap Sunset Beach on NBC on which she played the character of Tiffany. Her exit from the series led to her being cast as BB’s Amber, an impulsive “have-not” who set her sights on young Rick Forrester (Jacob Young).
First, she babysat Rick, then went drag-racing with him. Amber felt so guilty after Rick was injured in a car crash, she donated one of her kidneys to him.
Amber and Rick made love and she became pregnant. Unsure if it were Rick or Raymond (Usher) who was the baby’s dad, Amber fled town. She gave birth to Rick’s baby, who died immediately after delivery, sadly.
She passed off her cousin Becky’s (Marisa Tait) baby as her own, finally confessing to Rick (then Justin Torkildsen) that their child had died.
She’s been absent from the canvas, but fans would welcome her back anytime. Soap Hub sends sincere condolences to Frantz and to her family at this difficult time. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
