The Bold and the Beautiful Star Adrienne Frantz Recalls Jeanne Cooper

Adrienne Frantz brought her character, Amber Moore, from The Bold and the Beautiful over to The Young and the Restless in 2006. Frantz’s soap-hopping led to her sharing screen-time with the late, great Jeanne Cooper as Amber authored Katherine Chancellor’s memoir.

So, it only made sense that Amber would attend Katherine’s wedding to Murphy (Michael Fairman) when the two tied the knot on May 1, 2009. Frantz, who’s currently expecting her second child with husband Scott Bailey (ex-Sandy, Guiding Light), caught the rebroadcast this week and shared screen grabs from the episode on her Instagram page.

“I miss Jeannie Cooper so much!” Frantz posted. “I hope you all enjoyed today’s @youngandrestlesscbs I loved doing scenes with Jeannie! #yr #youngandrestless.”

Just as Frantz brought Amber over to YR, Cooper brought Katherine over to BB. During her trip to the west coast, Katherine told Stephanie about a trust that her late father, John Douglas, had set up ensuring that his daughter would be the sole owner of Forrester Creations. At the time, Steph had been rejected by her family, and Eric, once again, had wed Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Katherine, who was the sole trustee, helped Stephanie legally wrest control of the company away from Eric (John McCook).

Other characters have crossed back and forth between Genoa City and L.A. over the years. Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) moved from YR to BB after she had committed heinous acts in and around Genoa City. Next, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) came over. As the owner of Fenmore’s department store, it was a natural for Lauren and the Forresters to interact. Eric traveled to Genoa City for Lauren and Michael Baldwin’s (Christian Jules LeBlanc) wedding in 2005.

Additionally, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), who started out on BB romancing Bridget (Ashley Jones), migrated to YR where he had a fling with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
