Holding back the power of attorney document has Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) sweating bullets. He knows Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) swears it’s for the greater good, but it’s not what his boss wants. Eric (John McCook) chose Quinn (Rena Sofer) on his own, and as much as the rest of them don’t trust her, the patriarch does. Carter’s well aware Ridge has it out for his new step-mom, and he’s not sure he should get into the middle of this mess.

Not to mention, Carter almost always thinks ahead. He knows if and when Eric wakes up, he isn’t going to be happy his lawyer went against his wishes. He values his job, and his career will take a huge hit if the bar association finds out about his deception.
