Actress and Director Heather Tom did a spectacular job co-hosting CBS’ “The Talk” for a second time. Will she be leaving “The Bold and the Beautiful” to take a permanent co-host position?
Tom tweeted she was asked to co-host the roundtable talker on July 21. On her particular episode, she was reunited with another former soaper, Mario Lopez, who portrayed Dr. Christian Ramirez on “The Bold and the Beautiful” in 2006.
Tom, who plays Katie Logan Spencer, the troubled wife of Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), last co-hosted “The Talk” on June 29.

She joined Sharon Osborne, Aisha Tyler, Sheryl Underwood, Sarah Gilbert and Julie Chen on the series. With word that Sharon Osborne’s position may open, rumors are running rampant that Tom might be auditioning to fill the spot.
Tom revealed to Michael Fairman Soaps that she is enjoying playing the dark side to her character of Katie on B&B.
“I think right now she is in the throes of a very deep depression. It’s probably something she has been battling most of her life. It certainly came to the surface after she had Will. I don’t think this is unusual,” the actress shared.
“Katie has lived her whole life feeling this inferiority, and that doesn’t go away just because you marry the right man, and have a life you dreamed of. Those feelings are inside of you no matter what happens,” Tom explained.
“People deal with depression all of the time, and don’t always acknowledge it, or realize it. It sorted of comes to the surface, and then you realize you have an issue, or a problem, and then you either deal with it, or you don’t,” she concluded of her character’s struggles.
