The Bold and the Beautiful recaps for July 12 – July 16, 2021, feature Liam Spencer and Bill Spencer being cleared of (nearly) all charges, and Carter Walton being granted – and then squandering – a second chance.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recaps Highlights
Deputy Chief Baker (Dan Martin) refused to give any credence to Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) insistence that Liam (Scott Clifton) was innocent of Vinny Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) death – especially since neither one of them could produce the evidence they claimed would exonerate the soon-to-be-transferred prisoner.
Serendipitously, a guard entered the room with a phone which turned out to be Thomas’s; the trio gathered around and viewed Vinny’s taped suicide. After catching sight of Liam being forced into the transfer van, Hope gave chase. Liam was released on Baker’s orders; he and Bill (Don Diamont) are later granted their freedom following their agreeing to sign a generous plea deal.
Bold and the Beautiful Recaps: The Ex-File
Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) and Zende Forrester Dominquez (Delon de Metz) discussed the debacle that was Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Quinn Fuller Forrester’s (Rena Sofer) vow renewal ceremony. Zende inquired about Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) intentions, and Paris revealed she’ll probably remain abroad. When questioned whether that displeases him, Zende answered in the negative.
B&B Recaps: Assigning Blame
While visiting Eric, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) made a point of questioning Eric’s decision to retain Quinn’s portrait in a place of honor. She, Eric, and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) then debated how much blame Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) should shoulder over his involvement with Quinn.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recaps: Facing The Music
Thomas reluctantly admitted to Bill, Katie Logan (Heather Tom), and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) that Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) had contrived to take control of Spencer Publications – and that he’d been fully prepared to tank Bill and Liam’s case.
Justin arrived and confirmed the charges leveled against him. Once he’s left alone with Bill, Justin issues a sincere apology, and attempts to explain away his actions; Bill refused to forgive and forget.
Bold and Beautiful Recaps: Put A Ring On It
John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) exchanged impromptu wedding vows at the cliff house, and Finn pushed to have the actual legally binding ceremony take place forthwith.
B&B Recaps: Adding Insult To Injury
Brooke delighted in finding Quinn clearing out her office at Forrester Creations; she further mused that it had been Quinn’s very own machinations that led to her downfall.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recaps: New Normal
Liam spent his first night back home with Hope, Beth, and Douglas in a state of contagious euphoria. He makes a promise to never leave his family again. Meanwhile, Katie and Wyatt attempted to soothe Bill’s Justin-related ire, and they both made pleas for Bill to reconsider cutting Justin out of his life. Bill, however, remained resolute.
Bold and Beautiful Recaps: Clearing the Air
Eric summoned Carter to the Forrester mansion and surprised him with the news that not only will he be staying on as Forrester Creations CFO, but that he’d also be representing Eric in his divorce from Quinn.
However, the reprieve comes with a provision: Carter is to cease all contact with Quinn. Eric then handed Carter Quinn’s portrait and tasked him with disposing of it.
B&B Recaps: At Your Service
Justin sauntered into Ridge’s office and offered him a deal – if Ridge and Thomas promise not to press kidnapping charges against him, then Justin will pledge his loyalty and fidelity to the Forresters. As a show of good faith, Justin hands over Bill’s prized dagger-shaped pendant.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recaps: Chemistry Test
Quinn paid Carter a visit, ostensibly to ask him to represent her in her upcoming divorce; he admitted that he’ll be serving as Eric’s legal counsel. Quinn assured him that she’s glad he managed to retain his position at the company. She’s further touched to learn that he’s held on to her portrait. Rather than part company, the duo falls into a romantic clinch.
