The Bold and the Beautiful recap for December 14-18, 2020, features Liam and Steffy engaging in a spirited debate, and Thomas recovering nicely.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
We all are but human, and capable of doing things that sometimes surprise even ourselves. Take for instance Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). His mistake in assuming that his wife had broken their marriage vows beget the mistake of him running to his ex-wife’s house and drowning his sorrows with tequila.
Then that mistake begat the mistake of him SLEEPING with his ex-wife – though Liam himself is loathe to refer to the incident as a mistake. He prefers calling it a “bright shiny moment.” A moment that was right, that felt good and held the promise of a not-quite-achievable future.
And for her part, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) feels exactly the same way – a fact that the two discussed ad nauseum for three episodes straight. But where the two differ, is their approach to handling the affair’s aftermath.
Liam wants to come clean in the hear and now. Rip the Band-aid off so to speak. Steffy, on the other hand, thinks that they should keep the night a secret. Forever. It’s kinder that way. It protects Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Hope (Annika Noelle), sparing their feelings.
Liam took a whole lot of convincing…but Steffy powered through, and eventually prevailed. It’s a reversal of stories past, but, then again, Steffy is only human and she’s capable of surprising even herself.
BB Musings
Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) is on the mend following a battle with a very serious, very scary medical condition. There was blood pooling in his brain; it made him see inanimate objects in both a horrifying and sexual way. It was all very complicated. But he seems fine now. Though, color us a little overprotective, doesn’t he still seem a little…obsessed with little Miss Hope?
When Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) pseudo joked that Zoe (Kiara Barnes) should wait and see if one of the Forrester bunch would design her a wedding gown, did it make you stop and think about all the brides-to-be whom that fashion house has clothed – for free – over the years?
Did any else kvetch at Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) claim that she enjoyed visiting Thomas at the hospital? Especially considering the fact that her stepson has been a menace to both her and her daughter? The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
