The Bold and the Beautiful recaps for July 26 – July 30, 2021, feature Carter Walton and Quinn Fuller Forrester playing a dangerous game, Steffy Forrester deciding to make an honest man out of John “Finn” Finnegan, and Finn, in turn, revealing a long-kept secret.
Though they know it can cost them greatly, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Quinn (Rena Sofer) agreed that they’re unable to walk away from one another; they make love yet again.
Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) surprised Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) with the news that she’s accepted an offer of temporary housing from Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn (Tanner Novlan); they both sung the couple’s praises.
Their conversation then turns to where they currently stand with one another. Zende recommended taking things slow – lest they ruin a good thing; Paris wholeheartedly agreed.
A messenger drops off a stuffed envelope for Carter; Steffy and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) wonder if it might pertain to Quinn and Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) divorce. After contacting Carter, they discussed the irony of having Carter representing Eric’s interest. Ridge insisted that Carter was sufficiently contrite over his and Quinn’s affair and that he was determined to make it up to the family.
During a subsequent visit with Ridge, Steffy pondered her reluctance to marry Finn as soon as possible. By the conversation’s end, she’s decided to plow full steam ahead with planning the ceremony. Ridge delights her with the declaration that he’ll be designing her wedding gown.
Quinn put in an unwelcome appearance at Forrester Creations, but Eric agreed to see her alone – much to Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) chagrin. Quinn surprised Eric by revealing that she’s not hired an attorney, that she’ll accept whatever offer he makes her, and that she’s through offering him apologies. She also made a point of inquiring as to why Eric never saw fit to reprimand Brooke for the verbal abuse she heaped upon her.
Finn is thrilled with Steffy’s change of heart where the wedding is concerned, but he remained cagy anytime the subject of his parents is broached. He finally worked up the courage to reveal his reason – only to be interrupted by the arrival of his father, Jack Finnegan (Ted King). After making introductions, Finn came clean: he’s adopted, and he knows nothing of his biological family.
Despite being consumed by memories of her past with Eric, Quinn sends Carter a text requesting his immediate return home; when he arrives, the two get amorous.
