The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, Tuesday, July 16: I’m Getting Married…Tomorrow

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, July 16 features a day of shock and awe. A newly-engaged couple dropped a bomb that rocked everyone!

That’s Too Soon!
Hope (Annika Noelle) and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) went about town spreading their big news. Their engagement is going to be a short one. Very short. In fact, they are getting married tomorrow! The shocker rocked Liam, startled Brooke, and even had alarm bells going off for Steffy.

Hope decided it was best that she be the one to tell Liam (Scott Clifton) and she headed straight to the cliff house. Yes, it is a big decision but no, no one can change her mind. Not even Liam. And, boy, did he try.

A Bit Of A Twist
As it turned out, Phoebe was a deciding factor for her. Holding the baby and feeling such a pull to her was what made Hope sure about marrying Thomas. It’s time she stopped obsessing over another woman’s child and concentrated on raising Douglas and giving him all her love. Oh, if she only knew.

Xander Out!
Speaking of that secret, Xander (Adain Bradley) stunned everyone when he sent in his resignation letter. Eric (John McCook) and Quinn (Rena Sofer) spread the word to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). He said he was having family problems but they all wondered if there was something more going on.

Best Buddy
Their discussion shut down when Thomas and Douglas came in the room. He told them his big news an made it extra special by asking his son to be his best man.

Brooke worried this was all wrong but there was nothing she can do. Ridge told her to suck it up, slap on a smile and support the sort-of-happy couple.

A Sick Obsession
Later, Thomas fantasized about his wedding night. He will have Hope’s commitment, she will have his last name, and he finally had a shot at getting her into bed. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
