The Bold and the Beautiful recap for November 30-December 4, 2020, features Liam making a big, big mistake and Thomas having both a breakdown and breakthrough before collapsing.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights

According to Hope (Annika Noelle), her wedding vows are sacrosanct, and her life with Liam (Scott Clifton) and the children her number one priority. The same cannot be said for Liam.

One little peek inside a darkened room and a glimpse of a well known, mentally unstable man kissing a rigid, feminine-looking figure that he calls Hope is all it took to convince Liam that his wife had been unfaithful.

Never mind the facts that Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) had been doing all the talking, the form was a good foot taller than his wife and completely immobile. Perhaps the notorious waffler saw what he wanted to see so that he’d have a primo excuse to crawl back into the bed of his other “great love.” Which is exactly what he did. And all the while we screamed, “No Steffy! You can do so much better!!”

In the aftermath of their drunken tryst, Steffy felt the worse for wear, a ton of guilt, and she decided that the copious amounts of consumed tequila were to blame. Liam, on the other hand, laid the blame for his actions completely at Hope’s feet.

If she hadn’t continued to naively trust in Thomas’s better nature, then she never would have been kissed, and Liam wouldn’t have had to cheat. But then, it turns out, Liam was totally mistaken. Whoopsie daisy! But, in fairness to Liam, it was probably Hope’s fault that she looks so much like the mannequin that everyone knew Thomas had stuffed inside his abode.

A Moment of Clarity

Speaking of Thomas, he continued to lock horns with his demons – which were personified by the evil walking and talking Hope doll. The real McCoy managed to briefly persuade him that the life-like plastic was just that, and with fog lifted – and the voices quieted – Thomas managed to express his true sincerity and declare his love. Then, he collapsed to the floor. Striking his head for the third time in as many months!

BB Musings

Why did Hope call Finn directly rather than dial 9-1-1 when Thomas collapsed? Wouldn’t the latter have been quicker? And when exactly did he give out his number? We can remember him joking to Hope about not having her digits, but we don’t recall the two actually exchanging them.

Brooke: “I think that’s when I’m at my happiest, when everything is going smoothly for the kids.” We’re going to have to call bull on that one Brooke. Especially considering the fact that you’ve slept with so many of your daughter’s boyfriends and or husbands.

Ridge: “[Liam] saw [Thomas and Hope] kissing? …He saw them kissing and he didn’t confront them?” Hmmm…it’s a little bit like eavesdropping on part of a conversation and then walking out in a huff before you hear the end, right Ridge? Surely you can relate to that. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
