The Bold And The Beautiful Recap: Douglas Just Wanted His Dad

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, August 20 features the police wanting to speak to Thomas, whole Liam and Hope asked for Justin’s help to make their custody of Beth legal and to help get Hope’s marriage to Thomas annulled!

Doubting Thomas
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) told a frustrated Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) was going to face consequences for his role in Beth’s kidnapping. Brooke complimented Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) for putting a family back together. Douglas feared his dad doesn’t like him anymore.

Hunk Talk
Shirtless Thomas tells sleeveless Vinnie (Joe LoCicero) that he didn’t want to talk to his dad. Thomas vented to Vinnie that he’s not sure what Hope and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) see in Liam anyway. Vinnie asked Thomas why he wasn’t concerned about his son. Thomas snarled that Douglas is a brat!

Legal Aid
Hope told Justin (Aaron D. Spears) that she wanted her marriage to Thomas annulled. She and Liam also wanted to make sure that any legalities are taken care of so that they can be declared Beth’s lawful parents.

Justin said he’d start the paperwork and would try to expedite it. Hope expressed her sympathies over the loss of Emma (Nia Sioux). Liam cautioned Justin that Thomas was volatile. He said it’s not just that Thomas is nuts – he feels that Thomas is also a threat. Meanwhile, Thomas remained firm in his resolve to get Hope back in his life!

Don’t Leave Town
Det. Sanchez (Jeremy Ray Valdez) questioned Ridge and Brooke about Thomas’ whereabouts. Ridge deflected that Thomas was a grown man who doesn’t check in with him. Det. Sanchez said the case of Emma Barber’s death is being re-opened.

The lawman said that Xander (Adain Bradley) believed Thomas chased Emma in his car, causing her death! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
