The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, September 20 features Ridge recalling his encounters with Bill and reconnecting with someone who might give Katie an edge in Will’s upcoming custody hearing.

Brotherly Love
Liam (Scott Clifton) told Wyatt (Darin Brooks) he got subpoenaed to testify for Katie (Heather Tom) at the upcoming custody battle over Will (Finnegan George). Wyatt admitted he’s being summoned to testify on behalf of Bill (Don Diamont). The brothers took sides and decided who they would support in this custody mess.

Bold Bill
Bill told Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that he’ll fight to the death to keep custody of Will and said Katie and Thorne can’t stop him.

Later, Bill vented to Justin (Aaron D. Spears) about his situation and learned the hearing date is set for next week. Bill wanted to know the judge’s name so he can get to know him! Bill told Justin to start digging to make sure he gets custody of Will and Justin just doesn’t want to be disbarred.

Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) congratulated Thorne and Katie on their engagement and gave them the date of the custody hearing.

Next, Ridge returned and says he confronted Bill. Carter reveals the judge’s name: Craig McMullen (Joe Lando). Katie said that they have the truth on their side in that Bill’s been an absentee father and all this is for Will’s good.

Here Comes the Judge
It turned out that Ridge actually knows the judge and his family and flat out asked him to give custody of Will to Katie, cause that would be something Ridge would do. That might not go over very well for a man of the law, but Ridge didn’t seem to care.
