The Bold and The Beautiful recap for Tuesday, August 21 features the Liam and Hope wedding…and Steffy’s shocking reaction to it all!
The Nuptials
After all of the pre-nuptial jitters and battles — not least of which featured Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor (Hunter Tylo) rehashing all of their old rivalry — Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton) finally tied the knot.
When the pastor asked if there were any objections to the nuptials, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) admitted that he was okay with their marriage “this time.” Brooke glared intently at Taylor and Steffy, neither of whom stood up to voice their objections.
Rather than share traditional vows, Hope and Liam opted to have their guests share their thoughts and well-wishes.
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) stood up and said that this marriage was something new for Hope and Liam and this “great big blended family.”
She then said that she admired Hope’s focus on the future, before turning to her mother and suggesting that everyone should follow Hope’s lead.
Hope then promised Liam that she would make their home an open and welcoming one to both Steffy and Kelly, because they’re all a family now. Liam thanked Steffy for her support and acceptance.
Bill’s Confession
Across town, Bill (Don Diamont) fumed at Justin (Aaron D. Spears) that he was left out of the wedding. Justin told him not to be surprised, and that forced Bill to admit that Liam wasn’t in a mental place to be open to forgiveness.
He admitted that he wasn’t a good father to either Liam or Wyatt, and he was committed to both repairing the fractured relationships and to be a better father to Will (Finnegan George).
