The Bold and the Beautiful recap for December 28, 2020-January 1, 2021, features Hope (purposefully?) ignoring all the warning signs, Steffy and Liam’s trouble compounding, and Zoe’s true colors shining through.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) has always been written as a shade too…well, let’s be polite and just say naïve. But even she should be smart enough to know that SOMETHING is up when she walks in on her husband and ex having a screaming match with one another. And she certainly shouldn’t be easily convinced that it was all over a “surprise dinner in her honor.”
But suspect nothing, Hope did. So, Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) secret was safe for another day. Or until Liam has yet another attack of conscience. Or until word spreads about Steffy’s miracle pregnancy! She started baking that bun in her oven faster than she conquered her two-week opioid addiction…and that’s really saying something.
Sister, Sister
Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) is the kind of gal who likes to have her cake and eat it too. Or, more succinctly, she wants to marry Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and make sure that she also keeps Zende (Delon de Metz) all to herself. And damn anyone who gets in her way. Especially baby sis Paris (Diamond White).
Carter ALMOST rumbled exactly how selfish his soon to be bride was, but she of course managed to work her feminine wiles and wrap him around her little finger. But Paris isn’t going to be so easily manipulated.
BB Musings
On a scale from one to outright rotten, how awful was Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) to push his wife into allowing Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) to stay with them knowing that Steffy was already bringing him over and forcing Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) to make the decision while Thomas was standing right in front of her?
Also, when Ridge was complaining that his poor, pitiful son had no where else to go, did any one out there think, “how about the Forrester mansion?” You know, the MANSION currently occupied by two people. The place that DOESN’T also house three of Thomas’s most tortured victims.
And speaking of Thomas, shouldn’t he be situated back into his guest suite ASAP rather than being left in the main room of the house?
When Steffy’s baby is, inevitably, revealed to be Liam’s and the Steffy/Liam/Hope triumvirate envelops the canvas for the umpteenth time, who’s up for a Finn/Flo/Wyatt triangle?
Flo was certainly looking all thirsty during her first encounter with the very good and very shirtless doctor. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
