The Bold and the Beautiful recap for November 23-27, 2020, features Thomas struggling with his demons, and Liam jumping to a very wrong conclusion.
Thomas’s struggle to remain in control of his mental health worsened. His traumatically injured brain began to relay distorted images and sound, but he continued to insist to all and sundry that he was A-Okay.
Hope (Anika Noelle) began to doubt Thomas’s story ever so slightly…but since he’s been so respectful and professional and an all-around decent person for the past few months she decided to ignore her gut instinct. Boy is she about to be totally chagrined!
Liam (Scott Clifton), for his part, continued to believe the worst where his love rival was concerned. So color him ballistic when Hope dared to darken Thomas’s apartment in order to dine with him and an overly-precious Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri).
In a fit of peak, Liam stalked over to the abode, peeked inside the living room, and got an eyeful of a shirtless Thomas locking lips with an immobile, mute, and vaguely blond figure that he referred to as Hope.
Liam saw red, totally forgot that Thomas was in possession of a life-sized replica of his wife, and high tailed it back to Steffy’s house where he condemned Hope for her cheating ways!
Meanwhile, a disillusioned Thomas quickly realized his folly, totally flipped out, and found himself reduced to a heap on the floor. He knows he needs help…professional help. But will he have the fortitude to seek it out?
Show of hands, how many of you REALLY believed, right up until Liam’s entrance, that Thomas was actually talking to, and getting somewhere, with the real Hope instead of her rubber doppelganger?
If Hope was actually back at home at the cabin all along with her cell phone by her side, why was her location on the “locate my phone” app given as Thomas’s address? Are we to believe that she was still in the building, or possibly the parking lot, when Liam arrived? And then the two of them somehow never ran into each other? Is this story even logical? Are we reading too much into it?
Last week, we pondered on the location of the MIA and storyline-less Brook (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). This week, we’re offered an update: they’re on babysitting duty. How droll.
The ad nauseum focus on the Thomas/Hope/Liam/Steffy arc was briefly interrupted by some light flirtation between Zende (Delon de Metz) and Paris (Diamond White). Any shippers out there for this, the series’ latest manufactured couple? The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
