The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Maya Is Back, But It’s Not All Good News!

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, December 20 features a bombshell divorce, feuding mamas, and an unlikely hero.

Reese Took Charge
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was stunned by Reese’s (Wayne Brady) interruption and took him head-on.

She wasn’t going to let a newcomer get in the way when he doesn’t know the history. However, Reese stood his ground. It’s not right to tear anyone down and he warned her to stay away.

Brooke was definitely taken aback by the confrontation but this wasn’t even the most shocking part of her day.

Afterward, Reese took Taylor (Hunter Tylo) out to lunch. He promised it wouldn’t be the last time he takes her side. In fact, he’ll always be on her side no matter what. It was music to Taylor’s ears. She’s been on her own for a long time and it’s nice to have an ally.

Maya’s Home…Alone!
Xander (Adain Bradley) got a surprise when Maya found him in the showroom. She’s back in L.A. and he’s the first person she wanted to see. Maya was proud of his career change, but not so pleased about his choice in women.

She confronted Xander and Zoe about trying again and warned to keep their relationship out of the office. Maya’s next stop wasn’t so easy.

She tracked Brooke down in the main office and delivered heartbreaking news. She and Lizzy are back, but Brooke’s son is not.

Maya and Rick (Jacob Young) have decided to end their marriage. Brooke was blindsided by the news, especially since it didn’t come from Rick himself.

More Shocking Demands
Things weren’t easier at the cliff house. Hope (Annika Noelle) had plenty to say about Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) life. She attacked Steffy over the picture of her and Liam and then tried to ban Taylor from Christmas.
