The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, May 6, 2020, features Katie as a blushing bride as the show flashed back to November 13, 2009. She tamed womanizer Bill Spencer and married him in a simple ceremony in her favorite childhood park.
Katie (Heather Tom) was all smiles from ear to ear as she walked down the aisle to her destiny. Bill (Don Diamont) was a man beyond her wildest dreams. She never thought she would be so lucky as to live out a fantasy world, and this was beyond anything she ever imagined.
Dollar Bill was as humble as Dollar Bill could be (which isn’t saying a lot). He told Katie how much he loved her and promised to adore her for the rest of their lives.
Katie’s dad said some kind words about his daughter and told stories of her humble upbringing. She is a sweet soul who cherished every gift she was ever given, even if it was a hand-me-down. (Is that why she’s used to playing second best?)
Meanwhile, back at the Forrester mansion, Eric (John McCook) reluctantly prepared the reception as Stephanie (Susan Flannery) and Thorne (then-Winsor Harmon) joked and jabbed at him. Sure, it was all Donna’s (Jennifer Gareis) doing but how could Eric let it happen? How could he celebrate the marriage between the man who stole his company and the woman who was now the CEO?
Eric was taking it all in stride, though. He was calm, collected, and didn’t hold any ill will. At least not today. Let wars wait for another time. Today, his wife was having a party for her sister. Family is what mattered the most. Stephanie reluctantly agreed and even said a few nice things about Katie herself. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS.
