The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, July 17, 2020, features a throwback to Katherine Chancellor’s visit to LA from November 1, 2005. She was there with big news for Stephanie that changed the course of her life forever.
Eric (John McCook) thought he was quite the player. He divorced Stephanie (Susan Flannery), married Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), and was the king of the design world. Unfortunately, only two of those things were true. He quickly realized something wasn’t quite right when he and Johnathan (Joseph Campanella) realized the trust documents were not in the safe and his life was about to go off the rails.
Oh, and it was much worse than that. The documents were in the hands of Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper). She was the trustee for Stephanie’s father and she had quite the news to deliver to her dearly departed friend’s daughter. The old man never changed a single word of the original documents. Stephanie was still the sole owner of Forrester Creations.
Stephanie was blown away and quite pleased with the turn of events. John didn’t trust Eric and, Stephanie realized, her dad was right. Eric’s had these papers all along and never let her know. Stephanie wasted no time heading over to the office to confront her shady ex. He lied to her for all these years and now he must pay!
Meanwhile, Nick (Jack Wagner) pushed himself on Brooke and demanded answers. Did she love her husband? Did she desire Eric? Has she taken to her wedding bed yet? Brooke claimed she had a duty to her man, but also admitted they had not been intimate again. That was music to Nick’s ears.
Brooke tried to get him to relent. She even tried to send Nick back to her daughter, but he reminded her Bridget didn’t want him anymore. In fact, he didn’t want Bridget either. He wanted Brooke. He grabbed her hand and whisked her away to the harbor. He stole her away on his boat and took her to the middle of the sea and vowed to set things right for everyone.
