The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, July 16, 2020, featured Hope’s new friend having a familiar mark and Caroline working in weird ways to win back her man.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights

Liam (Scott Clifton) got a taste of his own medicine when Hope (then-Kim Matula) put another man first. She wasn’t waiting around for him to show up and took to Wyatt’s (Darin Brooks) side at the party. Why not? Liam didn’t bother showing up on time.

Liam was shocked when he finally did come along. Why would Hope move on like that? Pot, meet kettle. Liam was late because he was putting Steffy first, again. Heck, Steffy wasn’t even in the country anymore and she was still Liam’s priority. She reached her breaking point and walked away.

Another Spencer!

Wyatt was thrilled, of course. This meant he could have Hope all to himself. He sidled up to her the second Liam was out of sight and made his play. Hope deserved more than Liam was willing to give. He leaned in for a kiss and much to his surprise, she did too.

That’s when things really went awry. When Hope pulled back she saw Wyatt’s necklace. It was a sword just like Bill and Liam’s, the mark of a Spencer!

Green Isn’t A Good Color On Caroline

Caroline’s (Lindsay Godfrey) jealous side came out when she spied Rick (Jacob Young) with Maya (Karla Mosley). Enough was enough and she plotted to break them up. And, she had ammo. She got Rafael to give the crowd an inside look into “Room 8” and of course, they picked the sultriest scene. Poor Rick had to watch his gal getting steamy with her ex right on the screen.

Her plan worked, sort of. Rick was uncomfortable and upset but he didn’t have the meltdown she was expecting. He had it out with Maya and explained his side. He works with Carter day in and day out, so this wasn’t just “some costar.”

Maya understood but also took a stand. This was her job, whether they like it or not. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
