The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, April 17, 2020, feature Ridge ruing Brooke’s wedding day and Bill getting swift revenge.
It’s Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Bill’s (Don Diamont) wedding day and they were almost ready to exchange their vows in Abu Dubai. However, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) interrupted the scene with some scandalous pics of Bill’s night of passion with Quinn.
It didn’t quite matter that the affair happened long before Bridge was together. It also didn’t matter Brooke was with Ridge at the time. All that mattered was Bill slept with the evil Quinn Fuller – whether he was single at the time or not.
Speaking of Quinn (Rena Sofer), she was at the office having it out with Katie (Heather Tom). The ladies agreed Bill was the wrong man for Brooke (in fact, Katie wasn’t even upset Ridge was about to ruin her sister’s wedding) but Katie couldn’t figure out what he saw in Quinn.
Katie joked about Quinn losing her job over the scandal. Sure, she makes nice jewelry but Brooke isn’t going to want to see her around the office.
Across the hall, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Hope (Kim Matula) discuss their parent’s love life and Ridge running off to ruin the wedding. Hope was on Ridge’s side, Wyatt was on his dad’s side (understandably so). They wondered which man Brooke would be with when she got home.
Back at the wedding, Brooke was furious Ridge ruined her day and Bill did his best to explain his affair with Quinn. He was drunk, she was there, and it was the night Brooke went back to Ridge. Things happen, baby. Ridge heard enough. He punched Bill in the face, grabbed Brooke, and ran for the chopper.
The runaway bride and Ridge made it onto the helicopter just in time and left Bill standing on the ground in awe. Well, the joke was on Ridge. The pilot was Justin and Bill ordered his right-hand man to cool off his enemy. Justin tipped the helicopter and Ridge slipped out and fell into the ocean below. (Should have buckled up, Ridge!)
