The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, December 20, 2019, features Thomas playing Zoe, Steffy playing Thomas, and Thomas playing Hope. It was a backstabbing day all the way around.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights

Hope (Annika Noelle) was livid about Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and demanded she reconsiders. Steffy refused but the guilt was eating away at her. She shared her concerns with Liam (Scott Clifton) and told him how awful she felt. Liam reminded Steffy she was only doing what they had to do.

Will You Be My Girl?

In the design office, Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) turned up the heat with Zoe (Kiara Barnes). He needed her for his plan and it won’t work without him tricking her too. He said all the right things to start to seduce her. He got scorching hot when he spied Hope coming down the hall. He pulled Zoe in for a kiss that took her and Hope by utter surprise.

Thomas Got His Job Back

His plan worked, though. Hope saw he was moving on and decided he was safe now. She invited him to rejoin her team. She can’t save her line without a designer and he’s got talent so why not?

Hope got an earful when she went home and shared the news with Liam. He shared his disdain and suspicions and told her to watch her back. Thomas is a dangerous guy who will do anything to win her over.

A Harsh Reality Check

Back in the main office, Zoe told Steffy everything about her encounter with Thomas. Yes, he kissed her, so, maybe he’s not into Hope anymore? Steffy was not convinced. The timing of the kiss was too perfect and she could tell it was all for show. She told Zoe to stay on track with their plan — or else!

Brooke Lost It

Across town, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) stormed into the mansion and confronted Ridge. How dare they hire back Zoe?! The woman was the first to know and kept the secret for far too long.

Brooke was disgusted with Ridge and horrified by the whole thing. She warned Ridge about his son again. This is all Terrible Tom’s doing and Ridge will be sorry one day.
