The Bold and the Beautiful recap for March 2-6, 2020, features everybody wrestling with a dilemma, an explosive secret coming to light, and more.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlight
In soap operas, characters love to have their cake and eat it too – and the BB denizens are no exception. Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) wants a future with Hope (Annika Noelle) but he also likes fooling around with Zoe (Kiara Barnes), his ego-stroking finance and “sudden muse.” Heck, he’s even said that if push comes to shove he’ll actually marry his second choice since there are certainly worse fates.
Hope wants to be a mother to Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri), have zero interaction with Thomas and, at the same time, ensure that he doesn’t obtain even a modicum of satisfaction from a woman who isn’t her – seriously, has anyone else noticed how JEALOUS she is of poor dupable Zoe?
Sally (Courtney Hope) want’s to die with dignity while spending her final days with a presumably-in-the-dark Wyatt (Darin Brooks) – because nothing says I love you more than suddenly dropping dead in your lover’s arms.
For his part, Wyatt wants to assuage the guilt he feels for dumping Sally – TWICE – by granting her final wish while continuing to maintain a relationship with Flo (Katrina Bowden), the person he dumped the terminally ill woman for in the first place.
Steffy Confesses
And as for Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) she really wants to maintain the new normal she’s surrounded with – because what strong, independent boss lady doesn’t want a functioning relationship with her father’s child; the same man who has repeatedly left her for her step-sister – and all the while keep secret the fact that he’s only around because she got a little scheme-happy with her brother.
Luckily for Liam and Hope, Steffy just can’t shake those nagging pangs of guilt. Hence her end of the week confession to her purposeful smooch. It’s almost hard to fathom that she’s the same hellcat who shamelessly pursued, and bedded, her father-in-law.
BB Musings
Hope: “I am not naïve, Liam…I have been watchful of Thomas and…I do believe that he cares about Zoe.” Can you name the two things that are wrong in that sentence?
Shauna: “If he [Ridge] really feels that Brooke is his forever, then I would be happy for him.” A) He prefers the term “Destiny” and B) We may be just as gullible as Hope, but we actually believe you would be.
Ridge: “You’re stubborn as an ox.” Brooke: “Well, I’ve been called worse.” Yes, you sure have. And it was usually your late (much lamented) mother-in-law doing the calling. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
