The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, August 19, 2020 features Brooke letting go, Shauna worrying about her future, and Steffy reaching out for help.
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) wanted to make things right, which led him to beg Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) for another chance. She put her foot down: Sure, she’d made out with Bill (Don Diamont) and set this whole thing in motion, but she didn’t marry him! Ridge had gone too far when he filed for divorce and made Shauna (Denise Richards) his wife.
Brooke went off about how she could not be with someone she did not trust. (Hi, pot, meet kettle). Ridge let her rant and rave, then promised his heart to her forever. He asked her one more time to put this mess behind them and move forward with their lives together.
Meanwhile, the two Mrs. Forresters discussed the future. Shauna was overwhelmed with guilt and was sure that her new husband was avoiding her. Quinn (Rena Sofer) told her to give it time. There was no way that Ridge would have married her (even if he was falling-down drunk) if he didn’t genuinely care about her.
Things got tense at the Cliff House when Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) paid a visit to his sister. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was in more pain than she had been letting on and he could tell. He all but forced her to call her doctor.
Fortunately, Finn (Tanner Novlan) was more than happy to drop by the house. Thomas made it clear that Steffy was trying to be brave and asked him to help her. Then he left them alone to talk.
Steffy tried to downplay how much she was hurting, but Finn knew better. He forced her to open up, and she finally admitted to needing more pain medication… the good kind. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
