The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) recap for Friday, May 4 features Bill and Liam making some big decisions about their love lives.
Surprise Visit
Hope (Annika Noelle) visited Liam (Scott Clifton) to drop off a little gift, as she’s resigned to Liam and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) being together.
She was stunned to learn that Steffy and Bill (Don Diamont) are continuing an ongoing relationship. Hope asked Liam if he’s sure and he said Steffy is fighting their connection and that they will be a couple.
Bad News
Steffy told Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that Liam’s changed his mind and they won’t be getting back together. Ridge can’t believe it. He said he just spoke to Liam and he thought things were all set.
Steffy can’t believe that Liam thinks she’s still with Bill. She then lamented to Ridge that this all goes back to that night she slept with Bill. Ya think?
Bill’s A Jerk!
Bill defended his position to Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Justin (Aaron D. Spears). Steffy then called Wyatt to enlist his aid with Liam. Steffy said there’s no connection between her and Bill.
Wyatt, believing that Steffy’s lying about her and Bill, told her that if Liam made up his mind, then there’s nothing he can do.

Hope For Liam
Hope said she can’t stand seeing Liam in so much pain. She told him he made the right decision, and encouraged him to take his life back!
Liam asked Hope if he ever thanked her for coming back into his life and to Los Angeles. He added he’s not sure if he believes in fate or not but he thinks Hope knew he needed her.
The Future
Liam said he has to do what’s best for himself and his daughter and that means filing the annulment papers.
Meanwhile, Steffy flashed back to happier times with Liam. Bill showed up and asks Steffy if it’s true that Liam won’t be coming back. Steffy wondered why Liam thinks they’re together.
Bill said maybe they should be and told her he can take away her pain and love her the way she deserves to be. That was also right when Liam asked Hope to marry him!
