The Bold and the Beautiful recap (BB) for Monday, July 2nd features a shocking twist when Hope confirms she’s pregnant!
Hope’s Having A Baby!
The heat was on when Hope’s (Annika Noelle) pregnancy test came back as positive. However, it was anything but a celebration. Oh, sure, Hope was over the moon to be carrying Liam’s (Scott Clifton) baby but this just isn’t the way she dreamed it would happen.
Liam chose a life with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Kelly and Hope doubts her child will change his plans much. However, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) doesn’t see it that way. The pregnancy puts her daughter on even ground and she pushed Hope hard to get Liam back!
Backstabbing Employees
Elsewhere (and without Hope) a meeting between Maya (Karla Mosley) and the interns took a rather strange turn.
Not only did she vent to Emma (Nia Sioux) and Xander (Adain Bradley) but she let them vent too. Hope seems to be reneging on one too many deals and changes and they’re all running out of patience.
The interns should learn to stay in their lane, though, because when Thorne overheard the Hope bashing he wasn’t too happy. In fact, he told them exactly where they stood and directed them to either keep their mouths shut or take their complaints to HR.
Damage Control
That isn’t the only Hope drama Thorne dealt with. He and Liam (Scott Clifton) had a bit of a conundrum on their hands with that online threat. Real or fake, they decided to track the writer down but won’t be as easy as it looks.
Bill’s Giving Up
Meanwhile, Bill (Don Diamont) had a breakthrough about Steffy and told Justin (Aaron D. Spears) he was backing down. He loves her but realized he can’t force her to be in his life. That’s not how he wants this to work. It’s all or nothing, not halfway.
The Calm Before The Storm
Unaware of the pregnancy or Bill’s bombshell, Liam and Steffy connected at the end of the day and settled into their life together. All the drama of the day faded away when they closed their front door and spent the evening as a family.
