The Bold and the Beautiful scored a casting coup when it hired star Denise Richards to play Flo’s mother Shauna. After all, nothing stirs the soap pot like a sexy ‘have not’ in town! During her short stay in Los Angeles, Shauna’s made her mark, setting her sights on Ridge Forrester.

The majority of you, 71%, say that you can’t stand Shauna! Now, that’s not necessarily a bad thing because we all know in soaps, feelings that are ‘hate’ are more often best described as love-to-hate.

Plenty of BB fans say they don’t like Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Or Steffy Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Or Hope (Annika Noelle). What do all these women have in common? Like Shauna, they’re the foil to a favorite pairing beloved by fans. Shauna is taking no prisoners as she manipulates her own daughter to try to get what she wants and isn’t afraid to throw Brooke’s past up in her face!

Then, 29%, of The Bold and the Beautiful fans say you love Shauna — probably for many of the reasons listed above. It’s been a while since somebody told Brooke what they really think of her having been with all the Forrester men!

Shauna doesn’t hesitate to go for what she wants. Soap fans admire characters who want to better their lives. And that’s just what Shauna feels she’s doing.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Sticking Around

Shauna doesn’t strike us as the type to leave an opportunity behind. Our guess is she’ll remain in Los Angeles until she feels Ridge isn’t a viable option.
