The Bold and the Beautiful Worst Couple
Some couples on soaps are designed simply to break apart your favorite pairs. And some just aren’t popular. Which duos didn’t strike your fancy this past year on The Bold and the Beautiful? Soap Hub posed this question to BB fans. Read on for the results to see where your choice ranked!
Are Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) fans worried? Maybe. Ridge and Shauna (Denise Richards) ranked as you top “worst” couple of 2019. This sends a clear message that Shauna is seen as a viable threat to BB’s top duo.
Shauna’s got Brooke’s number and she’s even smart enough to know that Ridge isn’t getting over Brooke anytime soon. But if he ever drifts into another direction in the new year, we suspect he’s going to turn to Shauna.
Katie (Heather Tom) and Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) came in second with almost 29% of your vote. The couple shared some history, but they rushed into a marriage and then it abruptly ended.
Thorne just woke up one day and realized he wasn’t in love. He and Katie got a divorce. Thorne returned to Europe almost as if he’d never returned to Los Angeles. (One big benefit from this couple not working out was Rademacher returning to General Hospital as Jax.)
Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope (Annika Noelle) came in next with 18% of The Bold and the Beautiful fans’ vote. This couple was in turmoil for over half the year, which may have led to viewer frustration. Yes, the couple faced a great tragedy when they believed baby Beth had died. It’s understandable that they broke up, but if their love was stronger perhaps Beth’s “death” wouldn’t have torn them apart.
Flo (Katrina Bowden) is beautiful and well cast as a Logan. But it was hard to get behind her and Wyatt (Darin Brooks) when we knew all along that she was being complicit in Beth’s kidnapping. As happy as Wyatt was to be reunited with his ex, we knew Flo would be the source of his inevitable heartbreak. This pair got almost 14% of your vote.
Bill (Don Diamont) and Katie reunited following her split from Thorne. A small percentage of you, about 1%, voted them as least favorite, probably because you don’t want to see Katie be hurt once more. Which couples will emerge in 2020? Stay tuned to find out!
