When the character of Ridge Forrester was conceived, The Bold and the Beautiful creator William J. Bell wrote that the Forrester Creations heir would have a little black book that would rival Warren Beatty’s! The man is destined not to be single, but the question is who’s going to fill his dance card?
Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) marriage to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) is on the rocks because they can’t seem to get on the same page as it relates to their children, his son, Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), and her daughter, Hope (Annika Noelle).
Should he stay with Brooke? Or is saucy Shauna (Denise Richards) going to be the new woman in Ridge’s life? Soap Hub asked BB fans to weigh in on this front-burner tale!
Unforgettable
Ridge choosing Brooke earned nearly 50% of your vote. Since the early days of the show, Brooke has felt she was destined to be with Ridge. And nobody can deny Ridge cares for Brooke deeply.
Now, years later, they have children, some of whom they brought to the marriage from other relationships. This has been the source of their conflict. But will Ridge and Brooke be torn apart by this?
Brooke, You In Danger!
Shauna’s only been the scene since earlier this year, but fans gave her a strong vote of confidence with your votes. Nearly 40% of you want Shauna to be the woman in Ridge’s life. We’ve seen Shauna give her unconditional support to Ridge and that’s what he needs right now.
Shauna’s feelings for Ridge appear genuine. She’s glad he supported her daughter Flo (Katrina Bowen) making a deal to get her out of prison. Shauna knows that Ridge is a find. As he continues to respond to her, “Bridge” should rightly be worried!
Quinn Quiz
Some BB fans don’t want Ridge with either Brooke or Shauna. About 10% voted for Quinn (Rena Sofer). Ridge and Quinn developed quite the bond as he was getting to know her, presumably, to protect his father Eric’s (John McCook) interests.
They drifted apart, but this is a dynamic that could definitely be explored. Will it? Stay tuned to find out. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
