Zoe seems to be a character without a direction, focus, or purpose on The Bold and the Beautiful. She was brought on as a foil in the Zander and Emma romance, which never went anywhere anyway and then her father was brought on to switch a baby and alter the course of the show for nearly a year.
Zoe started as a cat-obsessed woman we thought would end up in a fatal attraction-like story but that never happened. She developed guilt during the baby Beth saga, but never fessed up about what her dad did. And now she’s fallen for Thomas — who is just using her.
Soap Hub asked what should come next for this character who seemingly lives on an island on her own and here are the results:
Carter needs something to do and Zoe needs something to do, so why don’t they just start a new romance, ask 55% of you. After all, that’s what you do with two characters with no real story on a soap — put them together and see what happens. Perhaps it will be what both of them need to set on a course for happiness.
Another 35% of The Bold and the Beautiful fans would like her to see her just leave town for many of the reasons mentioned above. She doesn’t serve much purpose on the canvas and you don’t see her becoming a true heroine any time soon. She helped ruin Hope and Liam’s lives — and even Steffy’s because she let her get attached to a baby she couldn’t keep. Why does she need to stick around?
A much smaller 10% think Zoe deserves a shot with Thomas and perhaps she will be the one to reform him from a total sociopath to just your average manipulator. You like what you see of the two of them together and want to see more. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
