Little Douglas on The Bold and the Beautiful is being used as a pawn by his father, Thomas. The kid needs some stability in his life and Thomas romancing Zoe stands to disrupt that… especially since he regards Hope as his mother.

Hope For Douglas’ Future

Most of you, just under 66%, believe that yes, Hope should take full custody of Douglas. Hope bonded with the little boy after she believed her own daughter, Beth, had died. Douglas thinks the world of her and Hope would be as devoted to Douglas as she is to Beth.

Douglas is no fan of Zoe’s (Kiara Barnes), who is being used as a pawn by Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) anyway. Douglas needs stability. His father is not going to provide that. Douglas wants Hope to be his future. This needs to happen.

Not Without My Son

The rest of you, just over 34%, say no, Hope should not have custody of Douglas! He’s not her biological child and Thomas is Douglas’s biological dad. He shouldn’t be using his kid as a bargaining chip in his quest to win Hope’s heart, but that doesn’t mean he should lose custody of his son! If Hope can see past Thomas’s manipulations, there’s no reason why the two can’t peacefully co-exist and co-parent Douglas together.

Thomas Needs Fixing

The one person who’s been able to get through to Thomas has been Douglas. This isn’t just about Thomas legally keeping the rights to his son. Douglas is the one who probably stands the best chance of getting his father to step away from the dark side and return to being the good guy that Douglas knows his dad can be.
