Wyatt’s been wishy-washy in recent times in terms of his love life on The Bold and the Beautiful. He’s making his way back into ex-love Sally’s life once more but is it for all the right — or wrong — reasons?
Soap Hub asked BB fans if Wyatt (Darin Brooks) romancing a dying Sally (Courtney Hope) is the right decision to make or not? Read on for the results!
Less than half of you, just under 46%, say that no, Wyatt is not doing the wrong thing. Yes, on one hand, he’s helping Sally make her dreams come true by letting her know that he still cares about her.
But, at the end of the day, Wyatt’s not being truthful to Sally. Above all else, Sally doesn’t want to be lied to or disrespected. Wyatt’s trying to help Sally. He’s also making himself feel better in the process. Is that part of his motivation? Wyatt’s lying to Sally, but he should be honest with himself.
The majority of you, a smidge over 54%, say that Wyatt should just walk away and leave Sally alone. She has friends and family (even if they’re off-screen). Sally needs genuine support, people who want to be with her because they truly love her — not Wyatt lying to Sally to trick her into thinking her dream might be coming true. The Sally we know would rather face the truth alone than have Wyatt lie to her.
The reality is that while Wyatt may ultimately want a future with Flo (Katrina Bowden), he does actually care for Sally — maybe not the way she wants, but he does care. Sally may later figure out what Wyatt’s true motives are.
If she can accept that and allow Wyatt to care for her in his own way, then her final days might be happy ones. What will happen next? Stay tuned! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
