The Bold and the Beautiful Poll Results: Is Eric Right To Make Shauna Leave?

Eric Forrester may have thought his days of being in the middle of combative women were over after Stephanie passed away on The Bold and the Beautiful. But he recently found out that some things don’t change. He made a call, but was it the right one?

Eric (John McCook) asked Shauna (Denise Richards) to leave the mansion following her conflict with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). The Forrester patriarch had been more than welcoming to his wife Quinn’s (Rena Sofer) friend, but when asked to choose between his wife’s pal and his former wife…well…given Eric’s feelings for Brooke, there was no choice at all!

Family Matters

Most of you, just under 70%, feel that Eric made the right call. He really doesn’t know Shauna and it may not be her fault that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) is attracted to her, but Eric has always cared for Brooke. He’s going to do what’s best for her.

Plus, Eric has a right to walk into his own home and not come upon a melee. Eric’s decision is going to add to the tension between Quinn and Brooke. Quinn feels that Eric cares more about his ex than he does his current wife. That’s going to lead to trouble!

“Eric, You in Danger!”

Eric may have made his decision doing what was best for everyone, but that may not be the result. The rest of you, just over 30% of The Bold and the Beautiful fans polled, believe that he should have let Shauna stay. After all, Quinn is his wife and Brooke is his ex-wife.

Quinn’s not going to be happy and that’s going to affect Eric adversely. He was in a tough position, but asking Shauna to leave sends a big message to his current spouse — you don’t come first!
