The Bold and the Beautiful Poll Results: Do You Want to See More of Shauna?

In what could have been written off as stunt casting, The Bold and the Beautiful hired Denise Richards to play Shauna, Flo’s mom. During her tenure on the show, Richards has taken Shauna from busybody “talk-to” to a viable threat in the show’s greatest love story — Ridge and Brooke!

A Bridge Too Far

Nearly three-quarters, 74.8% of you, say that you’re seeing all you need to of Shauna. Let’s look at what that really means. In Richards’ capable hands, she’s doing a dynamite job of coming between Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Unlike her pal Quinn (Rena Sofer), Shauna’s not out and out attacking Brooke. Instead, she’s providing Ridge with a sympathetic ear, sharing an occasional kiss with him, and letting Brooke know she’s got her number. If Flo (Katrina Bowden) can find forgiveness from those she’s wronged, Shauna can, too. Watch out, Brooke!

Shidge or Rhauna?

Okay, fans will have trouble coming up with a couple name for Ridge and Shauna that just flows off the tongue. But fans aren’t into Shauna for couple names. Over 25% of The Bold and the Beautiful fans can’t get enough of the troublemaking Shauna.

You love what she does and if things don’t work out with Ridge, there are other men she could fall for — like Eric (John McCook), for example. Imagine the fireworks that would go off between Shauna and Quinn if she were to be attracted to her best friend’s husband!

Timing Is Everything

Shauna’s future screentime on BB may be out of everyone’s hands. The actress is one of Hollywood’s busiest performers.

In addition to BB (which seems to be handling Richards’ schedule just fine!), the former Bond girl appears in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has a role in the upcoming serial Paper Empire, and is set to appear in the following: Amazon Lost, Resplandor y tinieblas, Saturday at the Starlight, Switched, Timecrafters: The Treasure of Pirate’s Cove, Victoria Dare, FraXtur, and Alpha Code (whew!).
