Hope, Liam, Steffy The Bold and the Beautiful
Soaps are about romance and triangles and, over the years, The Bold and the Beautiful has excelled in both. One of the show’s ongoing relationship dilemmas is the one among Steffy, Liam, and Hope. After all, he can only be with one of them, right?
Soap Hub asked BB viewers to weigh in on whether or not they are wanting Liam to be with Steffy, nicknamed “Steam,” or with Hope; their couple handle is “Lope.” Read on to get the results.
Fans who want Liam and Steffy together came out on top slightly, earning 53% percent of the votes. Viewers were heartbroken after one mistake on Steffy’s part (her dalliance with Bill, played by Don Diamont, when she was in a vulnerable spot) led to her breakup with Liam.
Still, you’re hoping that these two get together again. And why shouldn’t they? Steffy is the mother of Liam’s firstborn daughter, Kelly, and there’s lots of love there. Liam’s a little obsessed with Hope (Annika Noelle) right now because of the threat of Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). But does his heart truly belong to Steffy? Time will tell.
Almost half of The Bold and the Beautiful fans, 47%, to be specific, want Liam to be with Hope. They would have tied the knot years ago had Bill not conspired to keep them apart. It’s ironic as Bill has often pursued Steffy for himself.
But Hope and Liam are bonded for life — not only because of their daughter Beth but the ordeal that they went through in being deceived into thinking that she had died after birth, mourning her, and then finding out that she was really alive.
Hope and Liam’s joyful reunion on top of the Forrester Creations building, upon learning that Phoebe was Beth, was classic soap opera. It’s no wonder that so many of you want to see this couple remain intact.
