Y&R’s Lauralee Bell Releases Behind-The-Scenes Video of Bold and the Beautiful Crossover

Emmy-winner Lauralee Bell is celebrating her 40th anniversary as Christine “Cricket” Blair on CBS’ top-rated soap opera The Young and the Restless. Bell created/wrote/produced, and directed a series of well-received videos that celebrated her show’s 50th anniversary. Today, she releases a new one to highlight her crossover storyline with her Y&R co-star Michael Damian, who plays rock star Danny Romalotti, in their sister show, The Bold and the Beautiful.

This video introduces fans of both shows to what’s happening behind the scenes before today’s (Wednesday, August 14) episode of B&B. Today is the finale of the two-day crossover storyline that began airing yesterday. Bell and Damian’s characters, Cricket and Danny from Y&R, come to Los Angeles for a stop on the rocker’s international concert tour.

“After the many videos I’ve done for Y&R, I had always wanted to do one for B&B,” Bell said. “Little did I know that I’d actually be in it doing a crossover!

The actress set her BTS to U2’s Beautiful Day because it’s a great song and because B&B is simply called Beautiful in Italy, where the show is a huge hit. As usual, she made this video for the show’s fans. 

In addition to Lauralee Bell (Christine “Cricket” Blair) and Michael Damian (Danny Romalotti) from Y&R, this video features these stars of B&B: Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Forrester), Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester), John McCook (Eric Forrester), Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan), Alley Mills (Pamela Douglas), Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester), Tanner Novlan (Dr. John “Finn” Finnigan), Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton), Annika Noelle (Hope Logan) and Alexis Glaube (Petra).
