The Tuesday, May 28 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful featured a shift of sorts. The Luna/RJ conversation was more about Luna’s relationship with Poppy as well as Poppy’s relationship with Bill. Also, Steffy expressed her disappointment in Finn while Hope reflected on her impromptu massage therapy moment with Finn. The latest developments brought up some questions.
Questions for B&B
Does Steffy have a right to be so direct and demanding with Finn? Finn (Tanner Novlan) not only attended Sheila’s wedding but also participated in it. And he even took photos with the wedding party. He looked uncomfortable while doing so, but he still did it, knowing his wife’s feelings on the matter. How did Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) repay Finn? Of course, she and Deacon (Sean Kanan) posted a wedding photo that included Finn and Hope (Annika Noelle). They knew Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wouldn’t be happy, yet they did it anyway. It wasn’t enough that he got to be part of the wedding.
Steffy had every right to be upset with Finn, but she conveyed this message in such a demanding, controlling way that it’s hard not to feel bad for Finn. On the flip side, it’s hard to understand why he even wants a relationship with his birth mom in the first place. He’s stuck between a rock (Sheila) and a hard place (Steffy). It looks like he’ll need to develop a backbone to deal with both women.
Will Steffy be able to unknow and unsee her husband’s betrayal? Steffy looked betrayed and bothered. She was so over her husband and his wishy-washy ways. What’s it going to take for her to get over this? There’s no way she’ll be able to defend his actions to her family or Liam (Scott Clifton). Steffy said Finn “gave Sheila exactly what she wanted.” And that’s the crux of the matter here. Sure, she doesn’t want Sheila tainting her life. But she also doesn’t want Sheila to win in any way. And that’s understandable.
Do Poppy (Romy Park) and Bill (Don Diamont) have to worry about Katie (Heather Tom)? Poppy said Katie was intimidating after Katie dropped by Bill’s house and met Poppy for the first time. Bill and Poppy then told Katie how their story began and then continued after reconnecting. Not that B&B shows us ever, but Katie is still with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Does this mean they don’t have to worry about Katie? Could this be a one-off conversation? Or is there a shift that’ll turn Bill and Poppy’s relationship into a love triangle?

Why did the show open up Luna’s parentage to Bill again? What happened to Bill not being Luna’s father? When RJ (Joshua Hoffman) and Luna (Lisa Yamada) talked, she admitted to wishing Bill could be her father. The next thing we know, Bill asks Poppy whether he actually could be her daughter’s dad. To which Poppy said he could be. What? When did this happen? And now that it is a possibility, is there going to be an actual paternity test performed? Why did Hope think about the Finn massage therapy? What was that look Hope gave at the end of the episode? The one accompanied by flashbacks of Finn massaging her migraine away. Finn clearly enjoys their friendship and wants the best for Hope, which, in his case, means it’s not Thomas. But a friendship vibe feels like that’s all that they share. But what about Hope? Could she be catching feelings for Finn? Are we about to get a one-sided situation? Or something more?
