Phoebe has become a hot topic on The Bold and the Beautiful. Taylor and Ridge previously opened up about missing their late daughter. The psychiatrist on the go is struggling with broken heart syndrome. It might not be because of Ridge. Taylor hasn’t moved on from losing her daughter.
Let’s catch up on some brief history. Phoebe (MacKenzie Mauzy) tragically passed away in 2008 in a car accident. It was marked as one of the most painful moments in the daytime history. The crash occurred after Phoebe argued with Rick Forrester (Kyle Lowder).
She grabbed the steering wheel while he was driving. Rick lost control of the vehicle, causing an accident. Unfortunately, Phoebe was the victim of that crash. Her death forever changed the Forrester family. It became a major plot on the CBS show.
The fatal accident also caused tension between Rick and the Forrester family. Rick felt shame and guilt for Phoebe’s death. Her death is still heavily felt to this day. Phoebe’s tragic death obviously affected most of the characters to this day, including Taylor (Rebecca Budig).

Taylor wanted to return to Los Angeles (again) to be closer to her family. She also kept a secret about her medical condition. Taylor got a second opinion and learned that she had broken heart syndrome. This broken heart isn’t caused by her ex, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye).
She hasn’t gotten over Phoebe’s death. Taylor shared those intimate feelings with Ridge. Bringing Phoebe back from the dead could be the one thing to cure Taylor’s broken heart. It’s possible that she’s still alive and has memory loss. Phoebe could end up in Los Angeles, where she reunites with her family.
Steffy (Jaqueline MacInnes Wood) could also use her fraternal twin. They could finally mend their relationship since they spent most of their younger years feuding. Phoebe has been mentioned more since Taylor has returned to the surface.
Does this mean that Phoebe could come back from the dead? That has yet to be seen. Hopefully, the Forresters can find a way to honor the aspiring singer. Steffy always wanted a baby named Phoebe. This could be her opportunity to finally have one with her husband, Finn (Tanner Novlan).
